TECHNICAL DESIGNER – ADVANCED ACTIVEWEAR & ACCESSORIES

Seeking a technical, meticulous designer to advance product innovation and refinement across activewear, accessories, and outerwear. This role develops new products, optimizes existing collections, and acts as a technical bridge between creative intent and manufacturing execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years’ experience in technical apparel, outerwear, and accessory product development, ideally in the running or adjacent performance category.
• Deep expertise in technical design, construction, grading, finishing methods, and specification creation for advanced apparel and accessories.
• Strong proficiency in managing tech packs and communicating technical requirements to manufacturing partners.
• Expert-level familiarity with design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel).
• Meticulous, creative, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about technical product development; “product geek” mentality a plus.
  This role is essential for ensuring PRAISE’s product excellence and manufacturing precision by translating design ideas into clear, actionable technical documentation and working actively with manufacturing teams around the world.

• Develop and enhance technical products including knits, wovens, outerwear, and accessories (soft & hard goods).
• Create and maintain detailed tech packs, construction documents, and finishing specifications for each product.
• Maintain regular communication with manufacturers to convey requirements, clarify technical details, and resolve any production or construction ambiguities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve construction challenges, ensuring products meet demanding technical and aesthetic standards.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to uphold brand vision, technical feasibility, and consistent quality across collections.
• Stay updated on new construction techniques, textile innovations, and best practices in activewear and outerwear design.
