QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively problem-solve in unique situations
• Previous experience in concession or food preparations, restaurants an asset
• Experience with cash outs and cash registers an asset
• Positive attitude, enthusiastic and a collaborative team player
• Detail oriented, quick learner, adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
• Food Safety Certificate / Course an asset

• Provide enthusiastic customer service in a sincere, professional and courteous manner, striving to exceed customer expectations.
• Multitask with customers, to ensure efficient food and beverage service.
• Perform all cash handling and payment functions including accurate cash outs at the end of shift.
• Ensure all customer transactions are recorded and accurate.
• Operate equipment – Cash register, coffee maker, hot dog roller, grill and fryer, etc.
• Listen to customer complaints with empathy & act appropriately.
• Understand and apply all safety, security and procedures as directed by Alberta Health Services.
• Willingness to cross train for service in the ARC Social Lounge.
• Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
