The Concession & Bar Attendant prepares food and drinks for customers. Specific food offerings and job duties vary, depending on the location and type of concession stand. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Provide warm hospitality to all guests, provide prompt, efficient and timely customer service within a fast-paced environment, setting your main focus of the service operation to be speed and precision Take accurate orders from guests in queue, prepare and serve food & beverage items, prepare bill and take payments. Perform opening, closing and running side work. Clean & sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and workstations as necessary or on a schedule which will be set by management. Have an in-depth knowledge of the ingredients and how to service the food and beverage items to enable you to answer customer questions with confidence. Organize Food and Beverage display/ counter area to standards and restock all items to meet min par stock levels. Work as a team with other servers, server assistant and food runner to provide better service. Loading and unloading equipment to designated areas as required. Transportation of equipment using hand trucks, dollies, or other moving equipment. Navigate equipment through tight spaces and around obstacles safely. Assist in the setup and installation of equipment at the destination. Follow specific instructions for proper placement and configuration. Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of NYC DOH regulations POS Knowledge Ability to work within a team, communication skills SKILLS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE The work environment characteristics and/or physical demands described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
