RESUMEN DEL PUESTO:

Como cajero/a de concesiones en Keeneland Hospitality, será responsable de brindar un servicio al cliente excepcional y, al mismo tiempo, gestionar eficientemente las transacciones de alimentos y bebidas mediante el sistema de punto de venta en los puestos de concesión durante carreras de caballos y eventos especiales. Este puesto desempeña un papel clave para brindar experiencias de alta calidad a los huéspedes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 16 years of age (18+ for roles involving alcohol service).
• Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic math skills in relation to cash handling, credit transactions and product inventory.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with team members, volunteers, management and guests in a clear, professional, and respectful manner.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during race meets and events.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid Fayette County Food Handler’s License is required for all food and beverage staff. Must be obtained prior to the first scheduled shift.
• A Kentucky Horse Racing Commission license is required for all track workers. This license will be provided to you on behalf of Keeneland upon hire.
