Description Primary Purpose As a Concession Worker/Attendant, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to guests, preparing and serving food and beverages, and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems. Schedule In this role, you will primarily work on day shift, with potentially some added evening shifts as necessary Principal Duties & Responsibilities Cook and prepare menu items using standard kitchen equipment, including but not limited to a flat top grill, fryers, convection ovens, toasters, beverage dispensers, refrigerators and coolers. Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable. Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures. Maintain knowledge of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on the menu. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests. Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with necessary condiments. Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment. Stock and replenish coolers, refrigerators, supplies and machines as needed. Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. Required for All Jobs Performs other job-related duties as requested. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Education High School Diploma or GED Preferred Work Experience 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Customer Service - Preferred Additional Requirements Work varied shifts, to include nights, weekends and holidays. - Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of menu items, including cooking/preparing all menu items using standard preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment. Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to flat top grills, fryers, convection ovens, toasters, refrigerators, and coolers, slicers and beverage machines. Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations. Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems. Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages while operating POS systems for guest transactions. Maintains cleanliness of the dining and kitchen areas and handles opening and closing duties.
