JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages from a limited menu, operating kitchen equipment, handling customer transactions and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Concession Staff play an important front-line role in shaping the guest experience during community events, tournaments and recreational activities.
We are looking for full-time, part-time and on-call staff members for this position at the Richmond Ice Centre Concession.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in food service, concessions or retail is an asset but not required
• Current Food Safe Level 1 certification (required)
• Completion of a Criminal Record Check (required)
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, both independently and with a team
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs and safely operate hot equipment
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to take initiative and adapt to changing shift needs and customer volume
