Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Concierge to join our team at our luxury resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Concierge, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay on our beautiful tropical island is memorable and hassle-free. Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional first impression of our resort Offer comprehensive information about local attractions, activities, and dining options in Phu Quoc and the surrounding areas Make reservations for restaurants, transportation, and various guest activities Respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution Maintain up-to-date knowledge of upcoming events and local happenings Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and efficiency Manage concierge desk operations, including maintaining a clean and organised workspace Assist with luggage and other guest services as needed Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality Promote and upsell resort amenities and services when appropriate Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and preferences Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; fluency in Vietnamese is highly desirable Previous experience in a concierge or front desk role within a high volume luxury hotel or resort environment Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is preferred In-depth knowledge of Phu Quoc Island and its attractions Strong computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management software Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays Cultural sensitivity and ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for exceeding guest expectations Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanour Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage when required Additional Information What awaits you...
