BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
  • Capable of climbing a ladder (up to 8 feet) and navigating building stairs.
  • Physical endurance for standing, walking, sitting, and repetitive motions.
  • Strong visual accuracy, hearing ability, and listening skills.
  • Ability to complete 8-hour shifts with regular statutory breaks.
  • Proficient in using mobile phones, mobile applications, email, and Microsoft Word.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Excellent customer-first attitude with the ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of training and mentoring staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Valid BC Security License is an asset. Must obtain a valid BC Security License within 3 months of employment.
Responsibilities

Administrative & Customer Service

  • Greet residents and visitors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining records and managing communication.
  • Serve as a point of contact for residents and manage requests in a professional and friendly manner.

Security & Safety

  • Monitor security systems, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security incidents.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed for all individuals on the property.
  • Handle access control and provide security escorts when necessary.

Emergency Response Coordination

  • Respond quickly to emergencies, ensuring proper coordination with relevant authorities.
  • Assist in the implementation of emergency plans and procedures, ensuring residents’ safety.
