The ultimate goal of the Concierge Coordinator is to exceed guests' expectations and create a memorable experience for them during their stay at The Savoy Hotel. You will be accountable for: Building a nurturing relationship with our guests, partners, and colleagues to being able to create lasting memories for our guests. Efficiently supporting the concierge desk to deliver an engaging, refined and intuitive service. Providing our guests with in depth knowledge about the property and London. Having a thorough knowledge of local restaurants, museums and attractions; thorough knowledge of current events in and around the area to be able to give recommendations to guests. Assisting all guest enquiries via emails and phone calls. Interact with guests and effectively deal with recoveries, and inform the Duty Manager. Use the hotel computer system and phone system effectively and efficiently. Provide a complete and detailed handover for the concierge team. Be willing and able to cross-train and assist in other departments as required. Qualifications Candidate profile: Having a passion for guest service and taking ownership of the guest experience. The ability to work in a team and build relationships with others. Being very organised and proactive in managing your tasks. Being able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. Having a thorough understanding of the hotel, the surrounding area and London transportation system. In depth knowledge of London’s current dining, entertainment, shopping and art scene.
