POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is primarily customer focused, meeting and greeting all visitors in reception with a helpful and welcoming attitude. A background in working at prestigious, mixed use residential developments or a 5 star hotel would be preferable. Our ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the local area and attractions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet the residents and answer enquiries by telephone or from callers to the desk. Assist the residents, guests and visitors when requested.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the Link Apartments® brand.
  • Ensuring that the highest levels of customer care and service are always maintained.
  • Deal effectively with complaints, take the correct action and always remain courteous.
  • Always ensure effective security of residents and the building including manning any video monitoring and aid the smooth running of car parking facilities.
  • Verifying/reviewing information in Yardi CRM/equivalent if required.
  • Check and screen all visitors, guests, and vendors, ensuring they have permission to be present in the building. Report any suspicious/unusual behavior.
  • Ensure the tidiness of the common areas of the building and assist with the cleaning of public areas if required.
  • Ensure correct reporting of any security/Health & Safety issues, incidents, and complaints. Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency.
  • Issuing keys only to correct personnel/residents and accurate record keeping of keys going in and out.
  • Responsibility for all deliveries to the main reception desk, receiving and safekeeping of all parcels/registered mail. Correct issuing of all parcels/registered mail with a record which must be signed by residents. Notify residents of any deliveries and arrange pick up at the front desk.
  • Keeping package room clean and tidy at all times.
  • Be able to give a clear and concise handover at the end of the shift, highlighting any events that have occurred and forthcoming events.
  • Always maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Communicate with other staff involved onsite as needed.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating resident events as needed.
  • Assist Service team with entering service request and follow up when needed.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/CRITICAL SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school degree required.
  • 1-2 years of strong customer service experience required.
  • Pleasing personality and ability to work with and understand the problems and attitudes of residents.
  • Ability to learn and understand computer software applications, keep accurate records.
  • Strong organizational, customer service and sales skills.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of local area attractions, including, shopping, dining, etc.
  • Knowledge of industry standard software (Yardi) preferred

  • Frequently walks on residential property and climbs stairs.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
