Rock Creek Cattle Company is seeking a Seasonal Concierge to be the warm, welcoming face that helps make every guest’s stay exceptional. As a Seasonal Concierge, you’ll play an important role in shaping the guest experience from arrival to departure. You’ll be the go-to person for information, assistance, and thoughtful details that turn a great stay into an unforgettable one. Seasonal Opportunity: Approximately May 1, 2026 - October 15, 2026 Hours: 8 hour - 10 hour daily shifts / 40-45 hour shifts weekly Job Summary: The Concierge serves as a welcoming, knowledgeable, and dependable resource for Members and Guests, ensuring exceptional service throughout the Cattlemen’s Club, foyer, Lodge Room, and surrounding areas. This role builds genuine connections, provides tailored support, coordinates reservations and activities, and communicates continuously with Management and internal departments regarding progress, Member needs, and operational challenges. Duties may shift with business demands, and success requires flexibility, professionalism, and strong service awareness. Duties/Responsibilities: Greet Members and Guests warmly, establishing positive relationships and tailoring each visit to individual preferences (e.g., check-in routines, dining preferences, activity selections). Assist Members with questions, reservations, travel arrangements, amenity information, and general inquiries. Provide thoughtful recommendations for dining, activities, events, shopping, and local points of interest. Assist Members with special requests such as flowers, gifts, balloons, transportation, package handling, and personalized arrangements. Maintain a strong working knowledge of all Rock Creek Cattle Company services, amenities, activities, and promotions (e.g., Spa, Creek Club, outdoor activities, golf, events). Communicate all reservations, travel plans, and special needs to appropriate Department Heads in a timely, accurate manner. Collaborate closely with Office, Cattlemen’s Club, Spa 1919, Golf, Fly Shop, Outdoor Services, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service. Assist with booking dining, activities, spa appointments, and other reservations through Jonas and internal systems. Answer phones professionally, record accurate messages (name, time, number, details), and ensure timely delivery to the correct recipient. Transfer calls properly, provide clear information, and manage hold procedures courteously. Update and send daily communications to Members, Guests, and internal teams regarding menus, events, promotions, and operational updates. Maintain updated Member service brochures, local guides, event listings, and area maps. Support check-in/check-out processes, retail coordination, and office tasks as needed. Assist in planning and coordinating events, tournaments, and special functions. Maintain cleanliness, order, and presentation of the foyer, entry areas, and Lodge Room. Monitor and report any maintenance, safety, or service concerns promptly. Support additional operational areas (Golf Shop, Fly Shop, Dining, Housekeeping, Outdoor Activities, Transportation, Camp, Spa, Office) as needed. Maintain awareness of upcoming events, large parties, or reservation surges that may impact operations. Promptly report Member concerns, injuries, accidents, hazards, or other high-risk issues to Management. Promptly report employee and personal (“self”) concerns, injuries, accidents, or high-risk issues to Management. Follow all Company policies, including dress code, attendance, and safety standards. Attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions. Record hours worked accurately using proper clock-in/clock-out procedures. Notify Management when approaching overtime thresholds. If required by law, notify and receive approval from Management before taking breaks. Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed to support operations during high-demand or unexpected moments. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work long or irregular hours, including overtime, split shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially. Professional demeanor with the ability to represent RCCC positively at all times. Excellent verbal communication skills; able to interact tactfully and clearly with individuals at all levels. Ability to influence others and contribute to a supportive, enthusiastic, and collaborative team environment. Ability to build trust, credibility, and rapport with Members, Guests, and coworkers. Strong judgment and problem-solving skills; able to synthesize information quickly and make sound decisions. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to shifting priorities or unexpected demands. Demonstrated reliability, self-motivation, stamina, and drive. High levels of emotional consistency and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Ability to handle stressful or high-volume situations with professionalism. Commitment to continuous learning, feedback, and professional growth. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to safely operate a golf cart. Education and Experience: High School diploma preferred. Experience in hospitality, customer service, or concierge-style roles preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Regular movement including bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, climbing, lifting, pulling, and carrying. Continuous use of hands and fingers for typing, phone use, writing, and handling materials. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. Ability to navigate all Club facilities, including indoor and outdoor areas, stairs, and varied terrain. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions with heat, cold, wind, and precipitation when needed. Adequate vision and hearing to interact with Members, read materials, and communicate clearly. Work Environment: The employee works in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with low to moderate noise levels and constant foot traffic.
