Description Join our Team! Emerald Island Resort is seeking a professional, customer-focused individual to serve in a hybrid role as a Concierge Agent & Tiki Bar Attendant. This part-time position supports both clubhouse guest services and Tiki Bar operations and requires flexibility, reliability, and excellent customer service skills. Essential Job Functions Concierge Agent Duties • Provide courteous and professional customer service to resort guests and residents. • Process payments for resort fees, sundry shop purchases, and activity equipment rentals. • Issue parking passes and provide general resort and local area information. • Manage equipment checkouts and returns. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and guest spaces. • Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system. • Assist with inventory organization and restocking for clubhouse operations. • Work scheduled shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings (up to 10:00 PM). Tiki Bar Attendant Duties • Prepare and serve beer, wine-based cocktails, and standard beverages in a responsible and professional manner. • Prepare and heat approved frozen food items. • Process cash and credit card transactions using the POS system. • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar and service areas. • Monitor guest conduct and comply with all alcohol service regulations. • Assist with bar inventory, stocking, and storage. • Support Tiki Bar Committee seasonal events, movie nights, and special community functions, including setup and breakdown as assigned. • Work scheduled shifts primarily from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Monday and Thursday – Sunday). • During peak season and upon request when business needs require, shifts may begin as early as 11:00 AM. • Be available for additional shifts during special events and holidays as needed. • Scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed and are subject to operational needs. • Safely lift, carry, and move supplies and inventory weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements Minimum Qualifications • Must be at least 18 years of age. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Prior experience in hospitality, food service, or retail preferred but not required. • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled. • Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash accurately. • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and carrying up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required food handling and alcohol service certifications (ServSafe preferred or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
