Position Overview:    As a Concierge at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and personalized service to all guests, ensuring an unforgettable experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the resort’s amenities, local attractions, and luxury services, with an emphasis on anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.  Key Responsibilities:  * Provide guests with accurate and timely information regarding resort amenities, local attractions, dining options, spa services, and activities. Assist in arranging reservations, tours, and transportation.  * Anticipate guest needs, preferences, and special requests, ensuring personalized and exceptional service at all times.  * Coordinate with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, valet, front desk) to ensure guests' needs are met.  * Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, striving to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.  * Assist with booking tickets for local attractions, shows, tours, and other events.  * Answer the phone and make reservations, take and distribute messages or mail and redirect calls.  * Build rapport with customers and provide them with genuine guidance and support.  * Ensure the concierge desk is well-stocked with relevant materials, brochures, and promotional items for guests.  * Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.  Qualifications and Skills:  * Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.  * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  * Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations.  * Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.  * Proficiency in using computer systems and booking platforms.  * Previous hotel-related experience desired.  Physical Requirements:  * Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.  * Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.  * Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
