Description

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and solutions-oriented Technical Account & Services Representative to support and grow our presence in an assigned region. This hybrid role combines account management with hands-on technical support, serving as the primary point of contact for established customers in the concrete industry.
The ideal candidate will bring both interpersonal savvy and technical know-how, able to provide in-person and remote troubleshooting, support, and consultation. You’ll work closely with production teams, engineers, QC professionals, and management across the concrete and cement supply chain.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
  • 1–4 years of professional experience, including internships or co-op roles
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Must be located near a major airport and able to travel overnight up to 70%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with concrete or cement testing, field services, or quality control
  • Industry certifications such as ACI, NRMCA, PCI, or similar
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role within the building materials industry

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of assigned customer accounts within your territory
  • Provide technical support and guidance both remotely and on-site, including product troubleshooting, process optimization, and best practices
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular visits, training sessions, and ongoing support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues by thinking quickly on your feet—whether over the phone, via email, or in person
  • Conduct product demonstrations, site audits, and technical presentations as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, technical issues, and resolution strategies
  • Collaborate with internal sales, product, and R&D teams to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new opportunities
  • Manage your schedule and travel plans autonomously, ensuring efficient coverage of your territory
