JOB SUMMARY:

The Concrete Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the concrete batching plant to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, cost control, and compliance with company standards and safety regulations. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills to manage manpower, equipment, and raw materials effectively.

• Plant Operations:
• Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the concrete batching plant.
• Monitor production schedules to meet project requirements and delivery timelines.
• Ensure proper mixing, batching, and dispatch of ready-mix concrete.
• Quality Control:
• Oversee testing of raw materials and finished products to maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure concrete meets project specifications.
• Implement corrective actions for non-conformance issues.
• Resource & Equipment Management:
• Ensure availability of raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, water).
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
• Oversee the maintenance and servicing of plant equipment to minimize downtime.
• Manpower Management:
• Supervise plant staff, drivers, and operators.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
• Health, Safety & Environment:
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor compliance with environmental standards and waste management practices.
• Reporting & Administration:
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production and inventory reports.
• Track operational costs and implement cost-saving measures.
• Support management in planning and decision-making.
