CONCRETE BATCHER

Are you ready to take on an exciting role in a dynamic construction environment? As a Concrete Batcher at Eastern Concrete, you’ll be responsible for batching concrete to ensure the timely delivery of customer orders. You’ll operate machinery and handle equipment at the depot, ensuring good health and safety practices.
Don’t worry if you don’t have all the experience – we provide all the necessary training to ensure your success!

• Effectively operate our batching plant to the required standards, this includes keeping all the equipment clean and completing the required checks.
• Ensure that the correct materials are used to produce the concrete and that the concrete is batched within the correct tolerances for the mix.
• Check all loads prior to them leaving the plant.
• Complete all documentation as required by the Company to ensure compliance and standards are met at all times.
• Order materials for the following days production and control incoming stocks
• Maintain effective customer relationships both internally and externally
• Ensure the site, including the plant, buildings and equipment are well maintained and kept clean and tidy at all times
• Supervise all staff and drivers working at the plant to ensure optimum productivity without compromising health and safety
• Manage driver’s breaks and POA’s to ensure the most efficient service and delivery
