We are seeking a two-person Concrete Construction Team to travel 2–3 weeks at a time across the United States to maintain and repair our 2,300 CAT Scale locations. This is an excellent opportunity for couples/partners or any pair who work well together and want a stable, full-time traveling role. One team member will serve as the Construction Foreman, responsible for leading a 3–4-person crew, coaching laborers, and ensuring project quality and safety. The second team member will serve as a Construction Laborer, working alongside the Foreman in hands-on maintenance and repair tasks. ** MUST BE A TEAM OF 2 AND EACH MUST APPLY SEPARATELY TO BE CONSIDERED ** As a team (with the rest of the crew), you will handle tasks including (but not limited to): Concrete work and repair Scale deck repair Trenching for conduit Operating tools and equipment General maintenance of the CAT Scale equipment Working professionally with customers, subcontractors, and other crews Following all safety guidelines Both team members receive full salary, full benefits, per diem, paid travel, and paid lodging. Requirements Foreman 2+ years of proven experience leading a crew 2+ years of professional concrete experience Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong customer service abilities Must live within a 2-hour drive of CAT Scale HQ (Walcott, Iowa) Valid Class A CDL Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (2–3 weeks at a time) Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated Laborer Construction, concrete, or general labor experience preferred Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather Must live within a 2-hour drive of CAT Scale HQ (Walcott, Iowa) Valid driver’s license Ability to travel up to 75% of the time Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated Equipment experience, such as skid steer or mini excavator operation, is a plus for either team member.
