Description
Concrete Finisher-Delaware Valley Paving.   Key Responsibilities * Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth * Pour, spread, and level concrete using rakes, shovels, and screeds * Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power tools (trowels, floats, edgers, and power trowels) * Monitor curing process and apply curing compounds as needed * Cut joints and ensure proper expansion control * Repair, resurface, and replace damaged concrete * Operate basic construction equipment safely and efficiently * Maintain a clean and organized job site * Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations * Work collaboratively with crew members, foremen, and project managers * Additional tasks as needed to support operations   Qualifications * Valid driver’s license strongly preferred * 2+ years of experience as a concrete finisher or similar role preferred * Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques * Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and specifications * Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions * Experience with hand and power tools used in concrete work * Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites as scheduled * OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)   Compensation & Benefits at Delaware Valley Paving * Competitive hourly wage based on experience * Overtime opportunities * Health benefits (if applicable) * Opportunities for growth within Delaware Valley Paving
