JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a combination of technical skills and physical stamina, as you will be responsible for creating smooth, durable surfaces for various concrete applications.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following skills:

  • Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency in rebar installation, masonry, carpentry, and concrete forming techniques.
  • Experience with heavy lifting and operating heavy machinery safely.
  • Familiarity with renovation processes, flooring installation, and restoration techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans effectively.
  • Knowledge of welding practices is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up concrete forms according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and power tools.
  • Finish surfaces of poured concrete using various techniques to achieve desired textures and finishes.
  • Install rebar and other reinforcements as needed for structural integrity.
  • Perform restoration work on existing concrete surfaces, including caulking and repairs.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely when required for large projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
