Foreman As a Foreman at Steed Industries, you will be responsible for leading and supervising concrete construction projects from start to finish. Your role is essential in ensuring that all work is executed safely, accurately, and in compliance with project specifications. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of concrete projects, ensuring that all activities are performed in accordance with project specifications and timelines. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor site personnel, including laborers and skilled tradespeople, while promoting a culture of safety and high performance. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee all work meets industry standards and specifications, conducting regular inspections. Safety Management: Champion safety regulations and best practices on-site, leading safety meetings and conducting inspections to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Schedule Management: Develop, manage, and communicate project schedules, coordinating with all relevant parties to ensure that projects remain on track and delays are minimized. Material Coordination: Oversee the procurement and delivery of concrete materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and are utilized effectively on-site. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project progress, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise throughout the project lifecycle. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve construction-related challenges, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in concrete construction or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues under pressure.
