JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. As a concrete / screed Labourer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete / screed in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience in concrete / flowing screed work or construction is preferred but not essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment effectively.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Individual initiative.
  • Reliability.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to concrete / flowing screed work.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the checking of preparation of job sites by fully measuring the site beforehand.
  • Site surveying Floor surveying (using laser levelling and measuring equipment).
  • Liquid / Flowing screed / Concrete installations using our pump.
  • Trailer towing (to and from sites).
  • Pump operation on site.
  • Laitance removal / sanding.
  • Other general duties, as required.
  • You will report directly to the Directors and will be working in a two man team following a successful training and trial period
