POSITION SUMMARY

The Concrete Paving Foreman oversees all aspects of slipform concrete paving operations. This includes directly supervising crews, coordinating equipment, ensuring quality control, and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders. The Foreman will be expected to lead from the front—planning, executing, and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience in concrete paving and slipform paving operations, preferably with leadership or foreman-level responsibilities.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to access State and Federal facilities (must pass background check and drug screening).
• Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions and wear appropriate PPE (hard hat, vest, safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, etc.).

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

• Order necessary materials and equipment for concrete paving work.
• Perform site checks and lead paver mobilization/demobilization.
• Calculate concrete and material quantities as needed.
• Interpret and follow project blueprints and specifications with accuracy.
• Participate in hands-on labor or equipment operation as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
