Description Plant Manager ensures consistent compliance and execution of all plant processes; and responds urgently to correct operating issues within the defined Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and customer service boundaries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Champion Environmental Health and Safety requirements: Investigate incidents/injuries. Maintain site environmental reporting requirements. Ensure training and communications are delivered to drivers. Maintain Risk Assessments, Work Permits, Safety logs and participate in Safety-related work initiatives. Maintain Plant Equipment, Facilities and Mixer Trucks: Ensure all areas are clean, organized and well maintained thru daily execution of preventative maintenance processes. Train and ensure drivers and other plant employees understand and can safely perform required maintenance activities. Effectively communicate across departments to resolve issues. Manage Inventory Replenishment Processes: Ensure material inventory replenishment processes are clearly understood and consistently performed to support production requirements. Ensure materials are properly protected from environmental contaminants and storage areas clearly marked and segregated to prevent cross-contamination. Monitor and Report Performance of Daily Activities: Perform to, monitor, and enforce compliance with all 5S and Standard Work specifications. Inform Regional Manager to system failures and process problems that effect consistent execution of the Daily Management Systems. Accurately Record and Report Production Data in a Timely Manner: Ensure processes are performed properly to meet our customer requirements and our company. Provide Effective Leadership for Employees: Train and develop employees to comply with processes, interact professionally with our customers and present a professional image to customers. Properly manage accountability, coach, counsel, and handle employee issues with consistency.
