• Ensure the efficient operation of a concrete plant.
• Take responsibility for customer relations
• Clear communication with customers and fellow employees
• Required knowledge of construction and industrial sites
• Ensure all products meet quality requirements; take samples and test as necessary
• Maintain adequate levels of all supplies and products (cement, aggregate, admix, etc.)
• Responsible for ordering materials from vendors to ensure enough materials are on hand at all times
• Must have basic mechanical knowledge
• Must be able to operate a front-end loader to maintain yard and plant
• Must have working computer knowledge
• Must have strong worth ethic and integrity
• Will be responsible to collect money and tickets from drivers/customers
• Must pay small attention to details
• Must demonstrate leadership skills and be able to manage a small group of employees effectively
• Must be able to assume responsibility and make decisions within own level of authority
• Will oversee all drivers at the plant
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment by implementing all related company policies
• Will review driver’s daily vehicle reports and monitor hours for DOT compliance
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are continually in safe, operating condition.
