Job Identification We are seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused Concrete Products Operations Manager to join our Ernst concrete products team. This position works directly with contractors, homebuilders, and homeowners to help customers select the right products for sealing, finishing, coloring, protecting, and maintaining concrete surfaces, as well as concrete tools, finishing equipment, repair materials, and contractor supplies. This role combines technical product knowledge, customer service excellence, and daily operational oversight of counter sales and order fulfillment. Description Assist walk-in and phone customers with product selection and recommendations. Recommend appropriate concrete sealers, color systems, finishing tools and machinery, repair materials, and protective coatings. Provide detailed product knowledge, coverage guidance, and application instructions and technical support for customers using concrete tools and finishing equipment. Work with the products team to stock and ensure accurate, on-time delivery of customer orders. Maintain organized, clean, and stocked warehouse, showroom, and delivery fleet. Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat contractors. Work closely with sales team to support customer needs and large project orders. Responsible for maintaining inventory levels managing products orders, and ensuring availability of essential tools, equipment, and coverage supplies for both customer and operational needs. Physical Demands Lift up to 80 pounds. May be required to climb ladders. Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, and be in confined spaces. Environmental Conditions Must be able to tolerate, with or without accommodation: Exposure to extreme weather conditions High noise levels and significant vibrations associated with construction equipment and overall job site activities Walking and working of varied rough terrain conditions May be exposed to construction related chemicals, this environment can include, but is not limited to, dust and other typical industrial conditions. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Customer service or counter sales experience Construction, building materials, or contractor supply experience. Concrete industry experience, preferred. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and highly organized. Valid State-Issued Driver’s License, CDL Class B, preferred Candidates must be willing and able to undergo a pre-employment background check, MVR overview, physical and drug/alcohol testing. Ongoing compliance is required. Proficiently read, write, and speak English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, including: Management, supervisors, and peers People at various social levels Demonstrate the ability to perform job functions in accordance with Company policies and management directives, including adherence to personal appearance standards, safety protocols, and P.P.E. requirements, while promptly reporting any unsafe conditions, accidents, or incidents to your direct report.
