JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Concrete Pump Truck Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a truck-mounted concrete boom pump to place concrete accurately and efficiently on construction sites. This role involves working closely with the site crew, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all work is performed safely and according to job specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Ontario Class DZ driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating a concrete pump truck.
  • Knowledge of safe concrete pumping practices and job site safety regulations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel to various job sites as required.
Responsibilities
  • Operate concrete pump truck and coordinate with site personnel to ensure safe and efficient concrete placement.
  • Set up and break down pump equipment, hoses, and boom arms following safety and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Inspect and perform basic maintenance on the pump truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with the dispatcher, site supervisors, and concrete suppliers to manage timing and logistics.
  • Maintain accurate job records and daily logs as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pump operation or equipment malfunctions.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Clean and wash pump truck and components after each use to prevent buildup and ensure longevity of equipment.
