Keegans Quarries Ltd are recruiting Concrete Technicians for their site at Duleek Co. Meath
Roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Conduct tests on concrete samples to ensure quality standards are met.
Prepare and analyze concrete mix designs according to project specifications.
Implement and oversee concrete production processes and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to provide technical support and expertise regarding
concrete applications.
Document and report results of tests and inspections accurately.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all tools are calibrated and functioning properly.
Perform troubleshooting and resolve any issues relating to concrete quality or production processes.
Requirements:
Possess a relevant technical diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of concrete properties, testing methods, and relevant building codes.
Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment and tools essential for concrete testing.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a concrete laboratory or construction environment.
Experience with various concrete mixing techniques and equipment is an advantage.
Previous involvement in quality control processes within the construction industry is preferred.
Remuneration is €34,000 per annum based on a 39 hour week. If you feel you have the relevant experience .
