Our client, a highly reputed National Firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk specializing in condominium projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in managing all aspects of condominium real estate transactions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Law Clerk certification from a recognized program with at least 5 years of experience in condominium real estate law
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment, initiative, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and drafting abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of real estate software (Teraview, Lawyer Done Deal, etc.) and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities

Create and maintain databases for condominium projects

  • Open unit sales records and manage project-related filings
  • Coordinate with clients, providing instructions and responding to amendment requests for purchase and sale agreements
  • Draft correspondence and liaise with purchasers’ solicitors
  • Prepare occupancy extension notices, occupancy memos, and final closing documents
  • Review purchase and sale agreements and address closing issues in consultation with lawyers
  • Conduct title searches and prepare electronic documentation
  • Prepare and issue default notices when applicable
  • Manage closing funds and release sale proceeds to clients
  • Handle post-registration tasks, including reports to Tarion Warranty Corporation and registrations of partial mortgage discharges
  • Prepare turnover documents, closing reports, and accounts for clients
  • Assist with additional real estate law clerk duties as required
