JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both employees, residents, and visitors.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred.
  • Working well with other staff is required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies used in facilities maintenance. WHMIS training preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards while performing cleaning duties.
  • Stipping and waxing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in residential spaces, including, restrooms and common areas.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, including desks, countertops, and equipment.
  • Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with company policies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a healthy environment.
