KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Customer Service & Information: Be the go-to person for passengers, providing assistance and information to customers face to face, and via a PA system
  • Train Preparation: Ensure trains are ready for service, from cleanliness to functionality
  • Fare Management: Handle ticket sales, checking tickets, and provide fare advice during train services.
  • Platform Duties: Oversee train departures and assist with luggage at stations
  • Coach Duties: Manage coaches during planned and unplanned disruptions and events
  • Fault Reporting: Manage and report any equipment or facility issues
  • Emergency Management: Be prepared to handle service disruptions and emergencies
    The role is highly autonomous therefore you’ll possess a level of maturity, previous success in operating in a safety and time critical environment and an absolute commitment to providing superior customer service.

These positions feature a rotating roster. Shifts can begin as early as 3:30 AM and may also end at 3:30 AM.
