As the Conference and Events Duty Manager, you will oversee a diverse hospitality operation, responsible for conferences, events, and catered functions. Your key responsibilities will include: • A leadership role supervising the Events team. • Proactively engaging with University Departments to build strong relationships and create new business opportunities. • Ensuring all Hospitality Services exceed the expectations of our clients. • Ensuring all aspects of our services embrace and implement the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the University’s Māori and Pacific Strategic Frameworks. Your skills and experience | Kā pūkeka me kā wheako We are looking for candidates with: • Experience working in a similar environment and a proven track record in hospitality management. • A strong customer service ethic that emphasises attention to detail and exceeds expectations. • Leadership skills with a hands-on approach to functions and events. • Excellent people and relationship management skills.
