Job Description We are currently seeking a highly organised and passionate Conference & Events Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, meetings, and events at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery. This full time role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in Events, Conference Services, and Hotel Operations, working closely with sales, operations, and clients to deliver seamless and memorable events. Responsibilities include: Coordinate all aspects of conferences and events from initial enquiry through to event delivery Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service Prepare event orders, contracts, function sheets, and internal event documentation Liaise closely with Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Front Office, and AV teams to ensure flawless execution Conduct site inspections and assist with client planning meetings Ensure all event details are accurately communicated to operational teams Maintain detailed records and manage multiple events simultaneously Support the Conference & Events and Sales teams with administration and event logistics Ensure all events align with brand standards and guest expectations Qualifications Previous experience in conference, events, or hotel operations is highly regarded Understanding of hotel departments and event workflows Strong organisational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Hospitality, Events, or Business qualifications are an advantage Additional Information What’s in it for you Great benefits - worldwide accommodation and food & beverage discounts from you first day, Chadstone shopping centre discounts (at selected stores), free nights’ accommodation on your anniversary with Accor, free & confidential employee assistance program, discounted health insurance Live in Melbourne's South-East?
