Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Conference & Events Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Sofitel Brisbane Central. In this pivotal role, you will support the sales team in driving revenue growth by coordinating and executing conferences and events to the highest standard. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional service, and memorable event experiences from initial enquiry through to delivery. Prepare and coordinate proposals, contracts, and business correspondence to secure new and repeat business for the hotel Build and maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure seamless service delivery Maintenance of conference incentive database of key contacts/clients Operate and maximise the utilisation of all automated sales and reservation systems within the hotel Represent the hotel as a luxury brand, consistently exceeding guest and client expectations Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with budget and commercial objectives Support revenue growth by proactively identifying opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively Exceptional client relationship skills and a customer-focused mindset Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices Previous experience in hotel events or operations is highly valued Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented approach Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (preferred).
