We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities We are inviting applications for Conference Helpers to support the International Conference on Gerontechnology (ICG) 2026, organised by the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, Hong Kong Metropolitan University. The appointees will be responsible mainly for the following: Handling general enquiries and registration from participants; Assisting with the crowd control and ushering during the event; Supporting registration for the conference and afternoon workshop sessions; and Providing logistic support for the event, including the rehearsal (e.g. venue set-up, distribution of materials, and dismantling e.t.c.) Candidates Candidates are expected to possess the following: Full-time undergraduates; Punctual, polite, and well-mannered; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); and A good team player, with the ability to handle urgent tasks independently. Responsibilities
The conference helpers will manage participant registration and general enquiries while providing logistical support for event set-up and dismantling. They are also responsible for crowd control and ushering duties during the conference and workshop sessions.
