Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Conference Manager to oversee the planning and execution of our conferences and events. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and a proven track record in business development and account management. This role requires a blend of technical sales acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze event performance to ensure successful outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in conference management or related field with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
- Strong technical sales background with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and account management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
- Strong analytical skills to assess event success and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 44 per week

Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of conferences, including logistics, vendor management, and attendee engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
- Utilize resources for tracking leads, managing client interactions, and analyzing data to improve future events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling conference agendas that align with business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services for events.
- Work booked events, setting up, tearing down, serving and bar tending
- Insure Inventories of conference supplies are correct each month
- Lead a team of at time of bookings, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations during conferences.
- Analyze post-event feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in future events.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in conference management to enhance the quality of our offerings.
