Position Summary: The Conference Services Administrator must have the ability to follow directions from the Director, execute tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision, effectively organize information, and be able to multitask in fast-paced environment. Administrator also ensures that standards are maintained at all times. Must be able to work cohesively with other departments.
Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay for this position is $21.00 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Past hotel operations and administrative experience preferred.
  • Clear interest or experience in Conference Services or Events is helpful.
  • 2 or 4 year College undergraduate degree preferred
  • Must have typing skills and computer training (Word, Excel, Microsoft Office)
  • Must be able to communicate with proper grammar in English
  • Provide legible and detailed communication
  • Excellent telephone and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize assignments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
  • Helpful to have Experience with Salesforce and Agilisys / Versa
  • Must have professional demeanor and have a friendly “can- do” attitude

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift minimum weight of 20lbs
  • Capable of working consecutive and flexible hours
  • 75% - Sitting for office work.
  • 25% - Stands during shift
Responsibilities
  • Daily distribution of reports and forms.
  • Answer guest inquiries in person, via telephone and e-mail.
  • Responds to Catering leads.
  • File and keep track of departmental files
  • Manages inventory of collateral materials and office supplies.
  • Assists department managers with site visits, internal meetings and events.
  • Maintains and support service commitment and core values.
