Confidentiality, Privacy and Security Advisor JD

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Confidentiality, Privacy, and Security Advisor to help us further develop and maintain a robust approach to information governance. In this key role, you will ensure that our organisation is open and transparent in its operations, while also ensuring strict compliance with all relevant legal requirements, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA), Human Rights Act 1998 (HRA), common law duties of confidentiality, and other applicable legislation and best practices.
You will advise on the development of policy, systems, methods and procedures relating to the obtaining, use, handling, disposal and disclosure of confidential information, and on day-to-day information governance issues, whilst also reviewing CQC’s existing policy, systems, methods and procedures to assess their compliance with relevant law and best practice.
