General Summary The Configuration Analyst supports and maintains our Infor CPQ product configuration environment. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop technical capability while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting. The Configuration Analyst will work closely with Sales, Operations and IT to ensure that our configurable product offerings accurately reflect business requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and customer expectations.  Key Responsibilities  * Production Configuration Support: Assist in maintaining product configuration rules, pricing logic, and quoting workflows within the Infor CPQ platform. Develop a foundational understanding of how configurable products are structured within a manufacturing environment.  * Technical Skills Development: Build proficiency in foundational scripting or programming concepts (e.g., JavaScript, VBScript) and gain familiarity with relational databases, data structures, and system integrations.  * Manufacturing Alignment: Ensure configuration logic aligns with engineering specifications, bill of materials (BOM) structures, routings, and production capabilities. Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to validate configuration accuracy.  * Analysis & Troubleshooting: Translate business and technical requirements into clear configuration rules. Assist in diagnosing CPQ-related issues, testing solutions, and documenting resolutions.  * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders from Sales, Manufacturing, and IT to gather requirements, communicate progress, and maintain consistency across product families.  * Continuous Improvement: Participate in configuration lifecycle management, including version control, testing, and documentation. Proactively pursue training, certifications, and hands-on practice to expand expertise.  Qualifications and Skills * Technical Aptitude: Intermediate knowledge of computer science fundamentals, logic structures, or programming concepts. Ability to learn system administration tasks.  * Manufacturing Understanding: Foundational awareness of manufacturing processes, product structures, engineering documentation, or production workflows.  * Analytical Skills: Ability to understand and break down complex business logic into actionable configuration steps.  * Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.  * Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, apply logical reasoning, and contribute to solution development.  * Service Orientation: Commitment to delivering accurate and timely support to internal teams and external stakeholders.  * Initiative: Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.  * Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.  * Experience related to manufacturing, engineering, or production environments strongly preferred; with a Windows manufacturer being ideal.  * Exposure to ERP systems (Infor CSI/Syteline preferred) or product configuration tools is a plus.  * Experience with Infor CPQ, or other rules-based configuration platforms, is a strong advantage but not required.  Work Environment * Position may work a combination of sitting at a desk and working throughout the campus as the needs arise. * Work will require frequent problem solving and troubleshooting that can be affected by frequent distractions and interruptions, such as people, telephone calls, etc. * Typical shift will be Monday – Thursday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (subject to change at the discretion of the Company).
