MTSI is seeking to hire a Configuration Data Management Analyst to join the team in Los Angeles, California or, Huntsville, Alabama. Contract Overview: Golden Dome is a national-level, whole-of-nation initiative in which you will play a critical role in advancing next-generation homeland defense capabilities. If you are seeking a fast-paced position focused on developing innovative software for the Space-Based Interceptor mission, this opportunity is designed for you. As a highly skilled and experienced Configuration Data Management Senior at MTSI, you will lead configuration and data management activities for mission-critical programs. In this role, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of configuration data while supporting classified projects in compliance with government and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage configuration data management processes, including configuration identification, control, status accounting, and audits, for complex systems and programs. Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with DoD, IC, and other relevant standards. Oversee the creation, maintenance, and distribution of configuration baselines, ensuring traceability and accuracy across the system lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering, program management, and quality assurance teams to implement effective configuration control processes. Manage and maintain secure repositories for classified configuration data, ensuring compliance with security protocols and classification guidelines. Conduct configuration audits and reviews to verify compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Provide technical guidance and training to team members on configuration management tools, processes, and best practices. Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders and external partners regarding configuration data management activities. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and security in configuration management operations. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of configuration management practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in configuration management, data management, or related disciplines, preferably in secure environments. Active TS/SCI security clearance (required). U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. Strong knowledge of configuration management standards and frameworks, such as ISO 10007, MIL-STD-973, or EIA-649. Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Windchill, DOORS, or similar platforms. Experience managing configuration data for complex systems, including hardware, software, and documentation. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in classified environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with aerospace, defense, or intelligence community programs. Certifications such as CMII (Configuration Management II) or PMP (Project Management Professional). Familiarity with data governance frameworks and secure data handling practices. Knowledge of emerging technologies, including digital thread and model-based configuration management. Required Security Clearance: Must have an Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility 5 years’ prior experience for access to Special Access Program Information (SAP), or Controlled Access Program (CAP); must have 1 year in the last 5 years. #LI-AT1 #Merlin
