Description
Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills while operating in a Pilot/NPI environment. Support the global configuration engineering community by participating in and assisting others within the role community. Configure unique Sales Order Bills of Material (OBOMs) from customer quotes and non-standard requests (NSRs), with a goal of zero defects. Review incoming Order BOM changes to understand engineering and manufacturing needs. Adhere to the Order BOM Change process and maintain a high level of accuracy in implementing those changes. Ensure timely implementation of unique, non-standard, customer-specific requirements and engineering changes on OBOMs. Hold yourself and peers accountable for high-quality configurations using existing tools for self-review and peer review. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering efforts to meet the production requirements of customer-specific systems. Participate in and champion configuration engineering processes in cross-functional teams to resolve issues throughout the lifecycle of an order. Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of related experience; or 3 years and a Master's degree. Knowledge of semiconductor industry, or similar high-tech manufacturing industry. Experience in leading matrixed teams of peers with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personality types. Experience in Pilot/NPI environment. Proven ability to adapt to urgent issues and process changes. Decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, including problem definition, root-cause analysis, and 8D experience. Adaptability, ability to persuade, and compromise effectively. Ability to troubleshoot an issue and test a variety of solutions. Data analysis and process optimization skills. Ability to successfully interact with and coordinate across diverse parts of the organization, technical and non-technical. Continuous improvement mindset. Understanding of planning and order management processes. Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, configuration control, and change management processes. Attention to detail.
