Description

We Are Hiring! We are expanding our engineering team. We are looking for motivated professionals to support configuration management activities within international railway projects, ensuring proper control, traceability, and consistency of technical documentation, product baselines, and engineering changes across the rolling stock lifecycle. You will play an important role in coordinating configuration processes between engineering teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders, supporting the successful delivery of complex railway systems in compliance with project, quality, and customer requirements. Your Responsibilities Establish, lead and maintain the configuration management process for railway systems and components. Create and update configuration documentation (e.g. BOMs, configuration baselines, change records). Support engineering teams in defining and maintaining configuration structures. Ensure full traceability of design, production, and maintenance documentation. Control and monitor engineering change requests (ECR) and engineering change orders (ECO). Coordinate configuration audits and participate in reviews. Maintain configuration data in dedicated tools. Collaborate with system engineers, project managers, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with standards such as EN 50126 / EN 50128 / EN 50129. Support project teams during design verification, validation, and certification phases. Your Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in configuration management within the railway, automotive, or aerospace industry. Knowledge of configuration management principles and standards in railway industry. Experience working with PLM systems and engineering databases. Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills. Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken.
