Description Enhanced Veterans Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Configuration Management Specialist to support one of our government contracts in San Diego, CA. This is an onsite position. Primary Responsibilities: The Configuration Management Specialist shall be responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management. This individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle. The Configuration Management Analyst shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance. You will be responsible for coordination with stakeholders, documentation management and reviews, problem resolution and tracking change requests to facilitate the processing of configuration changes and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) as well as program technical reviews and update applicable configuration management documentation as necessary to meet program requirements. Some tasks include writing or revising CM plans, standard operating procedures, and CCB charters; coordinating CCB meetings, establishing CCB agendas; writing and tracking engineering change requests; establishing system and platform baselines; inputting and maintaining CM data in applicable tools and databases; and reporting configuration status accounting and process metrics as required per the Presidential Directive. Prepare training materials and provide CM training, as required, to personnel and Team NAVWAR staff supporting the contract. Requirements 10 years professional experience is desired, with 5 years desired in CM related activities Experience in overseeing program execution of configuration management processes Experience in Analytical and Problem Solving related to configuration/data management issues Experience with CMPro (preferred) or other similar configuration or data management tools Experience working in cross functional teams Must have knowledge of Department of the Navy CM processes Experience planning, organizing, completing, and presenting assessments of CM concepts, analyses, studies and procedures Proficient in MS Office applications BA or BS degree desired Secret clearance required
Responsibilities
The specialist will manage configuration issues related to hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration, working with the Configuration Control Board to define and implement new product release procedures throughout the lifecycle. Responsibilities also include providing change management guidance, coordinating stakeholder activities, managing documentation reviews, tracking change requests, and updating CM documentation as required.
