POSITION OVERVIEW

Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist III to support mission-critical programs by managing and maintaining configuration control of systems, documentation, and processes. This role is essential to ensuring consistency, traceability, and compliance across all technical and operational baselines.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in configuration management.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Strong understanding of configuration management principles and best practices (e.g., MIL-STD-973, ISO 10007).
Experience with configuration management tools such as CMPro, Windchill, or similar platforms.
Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
Manage configuration control boards (CCBs) and ensure timely processing of change requests.
Maintain configuration baselines and ensure accurate documentation of system changes.
Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and program management teams to ensure configuration integrity.
Utilize configuration management tools and databases to track and report on configuration items.
Support audits and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable standards and contractual requirements.
