Bell Business Market (BBM) is looking for an enthusiastic configuration manager to support our dedicated and customer oriented account teams with the overall objective and authority to ensure daily end-to-end delivery of CM services in accordance with the SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) practice. You will also be leading projects & initiatives cross-functionally with business, technical, and operational teams to ensure continuous alignment and champion B2B customer experience for Bell Canada.

Responsibilities

TYPICAL DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Support the account team in the establishment, governance, reviewing, and Improvement of asset and configuration management
  • Establish and continuously improve the process for identifying and correcting any discrepancies between CI’s and the CMS for validating existence and location of service assets.
  • Lead and collaborate with IT & Process Owners, and Process Stakeholders to gather and analyze needs, translating these needs into requirements; maintain up to date knowledge of industry best practice standard
  • Facilitate and perform CM audits to ensure data completeness and quality; enable process adherence through reporting and dashboards
  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the process, including establishing priorities and work assignments; Tracking compliance to policies and procedures and resolving or escalating any compliance issues
  • Reviewing and proposing significant IT infrastructure changes to ensure impacts to configuration management data are properly addressed via appropriate process or procedure development or enhancement.

Including:

  • Asset management
  • Licensing and Maintenance contract management
  • Overall life-cycle management of Asset and Configuration Item required to deliver our customer services.
  • Develop reports for Asset and Configuration management on KPIs to improve the process effectiveness, efficiency, and data accuracy
