Description

We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Configuration Manager. This person shall possess a detailed knowledge of the configuration management process including items such as: configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits and Configuration Management Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in configuration/document management, preferably on large-scale transportation or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with MTA, NYCT, or other transit authority requirements strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Microsoft Access Database Developer
  • Experience in building, enhancing, and maintaining Access Databases
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate across multiple disciplines.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, processes, and procedures in line with MTA guidelines.
  • Manage version control and ensure accurate documentation of all design, construction, and system changes.
  • Coordinate configuration reviews and audits to verify compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a central repository for drawings, technical specifications, test reports, and change documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and quality assurance teams to manage baseline changes.
  • Track system modifications and provide regular reporting to project management and MTA representatives.
  • Ensure configuration control supports safety, reliability, and system integrity for all project deliverables.
