CONFIGURATION MANAGER - POSITION DESCRIPTION

We have immediate hire openings for Configuration Manager to join our team supporting our Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) team in Washington, DC.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position/Job Description: General Tasking Description:

• Responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
• Individuals should also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout their entire life cycle.
• Individuals shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 15 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems
• Experience in Navy’s shipbuilding configuration management process. Required
• 20 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems. Preferred
• Experience in managing CM among ship platform level and systems level. Familiarity with CM within the Siemens Teamcenter environment. Preferred

EDUCATIONAL & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
