Description CPT is seeking a Configuration Manager III to support the Gun Weapon Systems Division (E30) at NSWC Dahlgren. This role directly supports U.S. Navy gun weapon system development, evaluation, and sustainment programs in a collaborative, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform configuration management functions in support of E30 Gun Weapon Systems programs. Evaluate change documentation and develop impact assessments for planned configuration changes. Maintain integrity and traceability of program configurations throughout the system lifecycle. Support formal Change Control Boards (CCBs) for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Specification Change Notices (SCNs), Source Control Drawings (SCDs), Deviations, and Waivers. Maintain configuration documentation, engineering baselines, and associated records in CM databases or tools. Review and process configuration change requests and coordinate with engineering teams for implementation. Prepare CM status reports and configuration audit findings for government review. Requirements 5–8 years of experience with at least 3 years specialized in configuration management. Thorough knowledge of configuration management principles, methods, and techniques. Experience supporting Change Control Boards and processing ECPs, SCNs, SCDs, Deviations, and Waivers. Experience in maintaining configuration traceability across program lifecycle phases. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Active Secret clearance required. Desired Skills & Experience Experience supporting CM for Navy or DoD Gun Weapon Systems programs. Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-61 configuration management standards. Experience with CM tools such as Windchill, Teamcenter, or equivalent DoD CM systems.
