Description
Conduct comprehensive audits of artifacts and asset inventories to create and maintain accurate, as-built models and drawings for assigned area Use Visio and other modeling tools to create and maintain as-built configuration drawings or models Review and research Change Requests and other work vehicles to complete tasks using Remedy ticketing system Consult with engineers to understand configuration changes to update all related drawings and artifacts Update and maintain the Configuration Management System (CMDB) Help update and maintain property records Work under minimal supervision Prioritize assignments for themselves and junior personnel to complete work in a timely manner Provide useful suggestions on improving processes Maintain a positive and friendly working relationship with customers and peers Other duties as assigned Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required ITIL certification preferred Experience: 4+ years of direct experience in the area of Configuration Management, Change Management, Technical Engineering, or Asset Management Previous Experience with Modeling tools or Model Based Engineering preferred Experience with Remedy preferred Security: Must be a US citizen Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.) Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources Salary: $120,000 - 140,000 Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards.
