Description TRISTAR is seeking a Specialist, Configuration Manager II for our government customer in Crane, IN The Configuration Management Specialist II shall be responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management. Individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle. Individual shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance Implements Configuration Management (CM) by maintaining the integrity of work products using configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. Maintains and follows CM policies and processes. Leverages GOTS and COTS CM tools to manage configuration items Requirements CMPIC CM Principles and Implementation Certification or CMTF Certified International Configuration Manager (Required if no Bachelor's degree is held) 5 years experience in Configuration Management Bachelor's degree in any field MUST be a US Citizen Must possess active DoD Secret Clearance Education and/or Certification BS level degree About TRISTARTRISTAR is a professional services company supporting U.S. Department of Defense programs.
