Configuration Manager SR – OCONUS Job Category: Engineering and Technical Support Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular-Long Term Assignment Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 75% Type of Travel: Outside Continental US * * * The Opportunity: Join a forward-deployed modernization team as a Configuration Manager responsible for managing all configuration documentation and processes at OCONUS sites. This role leads the implementation of the Configuration Management Plan and ensures configuration records are current across the lifecycle of the Period of Performance. Supports engineering teams by managing all architectural and design artifacts, ensuring consistency and traceability of system configurations. Manages updates in CACI SMARTLib and other repositories, ensuring adherence to DAF and DoD change management standards while operating both legacy and modernized network environments. Serves as the CM representative in Integrated Project Team (IPT) briefings and supports configuration audits and reporting requirements on the customer portal. Responsibilities: Experience managing a team that develops, implements, and maintains a Configuration Management Plan and Configuration Management Audit Plan to address processes, tools, and infrastructure to support requirements implementation. Accurately maintains and updates all configuration files for the entirety of the PoP, including the original source and a digital twin. Represents the configuration management function in all IPT Leadership briefings. For GFP, IAW AFMAN 17-1203, uses the DAF bases currently approved by APSR, DPAS, and CMDB until cutover to the modernized network. While operating Legacy Networks, complies with DAF configuration and change management policies. Supports lead engineers in configuration management of all architectural and design documents to reflect the present configuration and layouts. Maintains CACI SMARTLib documentation repository and other configuration control systems. Ensures proper access control to managed documents, configurations. Audits configurations. Supports configuration management of project documentation on customer portal. Qualifications: Required: Degree: Management or technical BA/BS degree Experience: 7 years with BA/BS degree Commensurate: High School diploma or associate degree plus a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Configuration Manager for large, complex programs/systems Desired: Specific Skills: Proven track record managing large, complex programs as a Configuration Manager; excellent proven soft skills, such as leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, to emphasize the managerial aspect of the role; experience working with DoD or USG programs; proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio); Certification(s): N/A Clearance: Secret Eligible - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
